3. It is Wednesday, My Dudes.

It's only Wednesday!? I was in bed and dead asleep by 8:30 last night. We are reaching that point in the semester where first exams are coming up, projects are being due, and career fairs are approaching. AKA stress, late nights, and doing some ass-kissing.

I started this week off maybe a little too strong, and now I'm a little burnt out. Today I work both jobs, and I need to get schoolwork done. I know and can feel how tired I am, and that's okay! Last week's post, I said that we could not expect to be at 100% energy and effort all the time. Right now, I feel like I'm at 70%, and I'm going to push myself to give that extra 10% of effort today, and I hope you challenge yourself to give that extra 10%, too!

This time is stressful and hectic. While there is a lot to be done, make sure you are also taking care of yourself! It's cliche and over said, but REALLY you need to keep yourself hydrated, make sure you're eating enough, and taking time for yourself. What is your favorite thing to do to relax? Try and do it today! I am starting to implement not waiting to do something I want to do and just doing it, and it feels good and makes me more productive. For example, I was craving froyo last Wednesday, and instead of waiting until the weekend like I usually would, I put my homework to the side, called my best friend, and went! Life is too short not to get froyo when you are craving it.

I hope this week is treating you well, and you are kind to yourself. We are all doing the best we can, and I am proud of you! Treat yourself a little today or this week when you have time. But also make time for something you want to do this week, even if it is blocking out an hour or two to watch your favorite show!
