KidX Club Storytime Project (22x28 poster)
At the beginning of 2022, Town Center at Aurora relaunched its KidX Club storytime events. We built the storytime events to enrich children's literacy and build a relationship with our local Aurora Public Library.
I created this graphic from scratch, taking our KidX Club logo from our corporate files and utilizing the logo's colors to catch the reader's attention. I also loved using QR codes as an easy way to connect people to our Eventbrite registration page.

Momo's Dumplings Advertising (22x28 poster)
At Town Center at Aurora, we had a cloud kitchen, holding 21 separate kitchens in one space. We offered advertising contracts to the kitchens to promote themselves throughout high-traffic areas.
With food advertisements, I always approached it as how could I show as much food as possible without the poster looking too busy. I was lucky that the Momo's Dumplings owners had professional photography done. We compromised using just one graphic that showed a little bit of everything instead of multiple pictures of plates of food and drinks. I created their QR code so visitors could easily be directed to their website to order directly. I added the shadow effect, so the words were more visible and stood out from the background.

Unleashed Streetwear Apparel (large hanging banner)
Unleashed Streetwear was one of TCA's small businesses, specializing in men's Streetwear. The store was located at the end of the mall, with lower traffic, so they purchased an advertising contract to hang their advertisement near the food court, a high-traffic area.
My approach to creating large banners was to have as little writing as possible and ensure that the pixelations did not blow out the photos. Unleashed Streetwear gave me a file of about 15 photos I could use in their banner. I wanted symmetry and cohesiveness, so I chose only high-quality images that could fit in a square format. I made the arrow banner from scratch in Canva using the arrow tools and Unleashed's logo colors to create an eye-catching element for their location and social media handle. Using a white background also helped everything on the banner to pop and "lift" the photos, banner, and wording.

Uniform Destination (Fabric Standee)
Uniform Destination was a staple store at TCA and purchased an advertisement focusing on their Cherokee Medical Uniforms brand.
Uniform destination sent me four different images that I could use. I tried to place at least 2-3 photos on the banner. Due to the long length and short width of the standee, multiple images looked awkward. I chose to go with UD's favorite picture and use the circles in UD's logo colors as filler.
There was a production error when we received this banner. Everything on the banner was higher than in the sample that was sent to me from our banner producers. In the original artwork, everything in the banner was shifted down; you should not be able to see the whole yellow circle at the bottom. If I had known there would be a blank area at the bottom, I would have added more brand logos that UD carries or maybe 1-2 smaller images.

Upcoming Holiday Events (22x28 poster)
Every quarter I was responsible for creating a similar "Upcoming Events at TCA" poster and fabric standee. The holiday season is extra busy with multiple events, so I had to make sure every event was listed and symmetrically put on the poster. My biggest challenge was making all the fonts the same size, especially since some of the event's names were longer than others. This holiday poster was my first "Upcoming Events at TCA" poster and fabric standee that I created, so I wanted to add the extra graphics to show our Holiday spirit. Using the basic, pre-made graphics provided by Canva, added an extra oomph to the regular poster. I used the transparent effect on the snowflakes to make the TCA logo stand out. I am super detail-oriented, so making sure each snowflake was spaced out the same was vital.
